Below are helpful tips and a snippet to get you going with adding products to your site through PayPal.

If you wish to have this feature enabled on your website please contact us.

Adding Product Shortcode

Product shortcode is how the shopping cart and PayPal checkout know what the product is, how much it costs, and any variations.  Use the following shortcode to setup products. Simply change the code to your product needs. Remember to set the NamePrice, Shipping, and Variation so your shopping cart and PayPal will know.

There are four options to set including product name, price, shipping, and variations.

  • name=”My Product Name”
  • price=”29.99″
  • shipping=”2.99″
  • var1=”Color|Red|Blue|Green”
  • var2=”Size|Small|Medium|Large”

If you do not charge shipping you do not need to include that option.  shipping=”2.99″ can be entirely omitted.  The same applies to variations, simply remove the option altogether.

Example Code

[wp_cart_button name="PRODUCT-NAME" price="PRODUCT-PRICE" shipping="SHIPPING" var1="VARIATION-NAME|VARIATION1|VARIATION2|VARIATION3"]

[pw-clippy caption=”Copy”]
[wp_cart_button name=”PRODUCT-NAME” price=”PRODUCT-PRICE” shipping=”SHIPPING” var1=”VARIATION-NAME|VARIATION1|VARIATION2|VARIATION3″]
