This is a basic overview of the WordPress admin area by Emajen. WordPress is not just a blogging system, but can be used as full content management system for your website.
Your WordPress admin is customized for Emajen clients. You may find differences between Emajen WordPress and a standard WordPress installation.
Login to your WordPress dashboard.
There are a few ways to access your login page. Visit one of these URLs.
- yourdomain.com/ui (replace yourdomain with your actual domain)
Login using your username and password. If you cannot remember your password, simply follow the forgot password prompts. Be sure to attempt a login first, then proceed with password recovery if necessary. If you do not have an account, please register for one here.
Once logged in you will see the WordPress dashboard.
The WordPress dashboard will display helpful quick-links, the most recent activity and Google statistics.
WordPress Posts Index.
On the left you can access the Posts list. This is an index with all your posts. These can be filtered by category and others, to make it easier to navigate. You can also use the Quick Links to make quick changes on-the-fly. Learn about the WordPress Posts index.
You can easily create a new post using WordPress.
Posts are typically used for a blog. There are instances where posts are used to organize products or other types of content by the category. Learn more about adding WordPress posts.
