800px-Billie_Holiday_0001_originaliEmajen WordPress UI has been updated with a new look and feel along with an overhaul of our MSSA plugin, further optimizing the admin user experience while rolling out some new features exclusive to our WordPress Network of websites.

As always, if you experience any issues with your website please contact us immediately.

Overview of the iEmajen Network updates

  • New splash graphic for background.
  • Admin CSS updates.
  • UI customization via newly available WP hooks and nodes.
  • RSS Support Dashboard to keep you up to date with the network development and updates.
  • WordPress default widgets and clutter cleaned up.
  • Removing header styles and scripts that WordPress 4.3 now forces, a performance oversight in our opinion (i.e. new emoji and open sans styles both frontend and admin).
  • Upgrading to Jetpack Network security replacing BruteForce.
  • Beta performance optimization plugin to improve style and script queue loads.
  • Beta caching plugin to further improve both desktop and mobile performance.
  • New framework built on Eddie Mochado’s Bones template.
  • Permalinks bug fix to resolve error 404 Not Found rewrite rules flush for post type posts.
  • Misc tweaks to UI and features.

This month there are several exciting new features rolling out with the latest WordPress stable release. You can read all about it here – wordpress.org/news/2015/08/billie

Version 4.3 of WordPress, named “Billie” in honor of jazz singer Billie Holiday, was the official WordPress 4.3 update. New features in 4.3 make it even easier to format your content and customize your site.
